Cuisine
Feast from an extensive menu of culinary arts. From traditional French-accented selections and Asian Fusion menus featuring exotic flavor combinations to Classic and Nouvelle Cuisine recipes, choosing the cuisine will be your most difficult decision of the night. With Regent, you will dine on a marvelous mixture of inventive and eclectic culinary delights.

Guests of the Seven Seas Mariner and Seven Seas Voyager are offered a choice of four superb restaurants. La Veranda evokes the casual atmosphere of a Mediterranean bistro, featuring a festival of contemporary cuisines from East and West. True to its name, La Veranda is open to tropical breezes and eye-filling views. Stir in a little entertainment with your meal and you have the Latitudes Restaurant. One of the first open galleys at sea, every guest has a view of the open galley grill, where the talented sauté chefs prepare your seared foie gras, tuna steak or entrecôte right before your eyes. A theatre of food! Latitudes is a reservations-only venue. For those who prefer a traditional dining experience, The Compass Rose is the largest dining venue, offering a potpourri of selections from the latest fusion creations to traditional favorites. For a taste of Paris, dine at Regent's proudest creation, Signatures Restaurant - the only restaurant at sea staffed by chefs wearing the blue ribbon of Le Cordon Bleu® of Paris, the most prestigious culinary authority in the world. The ambiance is classically and elegantly French, but the cuisine is a globe-spanning mélange of traditional, regional, nouvelle and fusion fare.

Let these enticing culinary creations whet your appetite and stimulate your senses.

Enrichment Programs
Regent has established an excellent variety of cultural enrichment programs including expert guest lecturers, culinary workshops and instructional classes to foster personal growth, and augment your vacation.

Guest Lecturer Program - Regent has invited an impressive roster of well-known and accomplished figures whose curricula vitae include outstanding contributions to the arts, science, government services and the media. Each segment of the Grand Voyage will feature at least one and sometimes several appearances by celebrity lecturers and also feature experts from the esteemed Smithsonian Institution, who will impart their considerable knowledge about the region of the world in which you are sailing. Consequently, your time ashore will be more meaningful and enjoyable.

Le Cordon Bleu® Classe Culinaire des Croisieres workshops - In this dynamically intense hands-on introduction to the art of French cooking, guests will watch fascinating cooking demonstrations detailing the preparation and presentation of French cuisine and discover the secrets and techniques of world-renowned chefs as each participant prepares selections taken from the ship's own Le Cordon Bleu® menus. To no surprise, Le Cordon Bleu® Classe workshops receive enormous interests so be sure to reserve your spot in advance of your cruise, as space is usually limited to 32 guests per cruise.

Bridge Masters & Computer Classes - Guests who prefer to take a cyberpath to enlightenment will find the latest computers and equipment available for use for a nominal charge. Free computer classes include Introduction to E-mail and Advanced Word Processing and Digital Photography may also be available. Or if bridge is your game, a certified Master Bridge instructor can teach you the fine art of contract or duplicate bridge in the card room.
